Go on cyberpowerpc.com and get familiar with parts and what not. You can also find a decent PC on there but they are kind of pricey.

I picked all the pieces and parts from Cyberpowerpc.com and ordered it from there about a year and a half ago. I've upraged my GPU and I've done a couple other modifications to my whole setup since then. My PC was definitely a little bit overpriced when I bought it but I didn't know much about computers like I do now.

Mine was $1300 total, but only $800 if you take away the monitor, tax and shipping. Mine runs BF3 on ultra at 60+ fps. Mine runs DayZ at ~25-30 fps in cities and 60+ in the wilderness on max.

I would say $600 for a computer that will run bf3 on med-high (assuming you build it yourself), but it's likely to be outdated quickly.

That sounds honestly amazing. Those are the two games i play the most (and gmod obviously) But im ttired of playing Bf3 on xbox where it is so slow paced. Those massive servers sound amazing.

Well if you are just looking to run games, you can just aim for a simple processor, motherboard, and all the other crap and then get a pretty good GPU. Make sure the system can handle the card and also make sure you have a large enough power supply.

Do some research. I looked at parts, compared prices and found out what made computers faster for a few months before I bought the parts for mine.

I was looking at some GPU's and it seems that the 7770 will get ya around 30-50 fps max settings on BF3.

I have a radeonHD 6870 and an AMD quad core processor Overclocked to 4.6 ghz giving me 60+ fps on bf3 max settings.

They are prebuilts but you have a variety of parts to choose when ordering it. Basically you're going to be paying extra for them to put it together and the shipping.

Eh.
I think it's something worth suffering, knowing how to build, modify a computer is something that can be useful to know.

Glitch, you put a motherboard with a 2.0 PCIe x16 with a GPU with PCIe bus-type 3.0.
Fix him up with a new motherboard that has 3.0 bus-support and some other sweet things and he should be good. Cheers.

It's backwards compatible, plus the bandwidth of 3.0 isn't even near being used.
