When I was ages younger I played Pokemon as well. Subsequently, I got quite into Yu-Gi-Oh but nothing on a tournament scale. Most recently, I've been playing a bit of Magic: The Gathering with a few friends of mine in my dorm.

I wasn't half bad back in the day if I do say so myself.
Day before yesterday I saw a rabbit, and yesterday a deer, and today, you.

Langile, Slivers are OP as fuck.  But I play MTG I love it.  I go play FMN or I'll draft on Saturdays.  Great TCG

I never really understood pokemon, to me it made no sense on how you used energy, so I stuck to yugioh until I was 8-9 when I started playing Magic.  First got an intro deck in 9th Edition (Lofty Heights), and then the Arcbound deck from Darksteel.  I stopped playing for a bit because I had nobody to play with but when M10 came around I got the green theme deck.  Then with Lorwyn block I got Sidestep (Red/Blue) and my friend got Merrow Riverway (White/Blue).  Then in Shards of Alara I got the Dead Ahead theme deck, I still love Deathbringer Thoctar.  And then with M13, RTR, and GTC I've gotten about 20ish boosters, a fat pack, a deckbuilder's toolkit, a booster box, and I've ordered a bunch of singles.  I plan on going to the Dragon's Maze prerelease and running either Boros or Selesnya.

I would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for the boners of the elderly.

I played Yu-Gi-Oh until I was ten and had to move :X I remember giving my entire deck to my neighbors (which I regret, because it was a fucking sweet deck) since they still enjoyed Yu-Gi-Oh and I was attempting (attempting, mind you) to grow up.

Other than that, I didn't really play much besides video games.

Lol one of the easiest things in pokemon. You attach energy so a pokemon can retreat or attack. you can only attach one energy per turn unless you use an ability that lets you do otherwise.

Uno isn't a trading card game :P It's a card game, but not a trading card game.

Unless something has changed O-o

too slow for me, and not much of a reason to play the long games imo.

Curtain TCG's can be fast, Like I know Yi-gi-Oh is like pretty fast paced and Magic can be fast.

Magic games for me take 15-30 mins if they're good. We play 2v2 double headed giant or w/e usually. Games are pretty even unless someone gets a ridiculous draw, then the game lasts like 5 mins.
