none the less heres the new harddrive I have to recover my data to.

Gratz. Hope you recovered your old data. My friend bough a 750gb Solid State Drive for only $500.  It's effing beast.

Just make sure theres absolutely no way you can write any data to it and you should be fine (You know what I mean -- don't start up with it as main, don't use it in any way that could write data TO it, only take from it (better chances of recovering 'yer stuff)).
